Instruction
Preparation:
- PREPARE: Start by turning on the oven at 200° fan and line a baking tin measuring 22 x 30 cm with baking paper. Be aware that the baking time will change if you use a tin with different measurements.
- PREPARE CAKE DOUGH: Melt NATURLI’ Block and soy drink together in a saucepan. Allow to cool before use. Split the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds, mix with 1 tsp. sugar and put in a large bowl together with remaining sugar, applesauce, NATURLI’ NATURAL, oil and apple cider vinegar. Whisk together by hand until homogeneous.
- Weigh out wheat flour and potato flour in a bowl. Mix with baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Now alternately turn the Block mixture and sift the flour mixture into the bowl with the wet ingredients. Fold in with a spatula and be careful NOT to overmix your dough.
- BAKE 1. STEP: When the dough is homogeneous and delicious, pour it into the baking tin. Bag 20 min. until golden and firm. Meanwhile prepare the topping.
- PREPARE THE TOPPING: Put NATURLi’ Block, NATURLI’ oat drink, brown sugar and shredded coconut in a saucepan. Melt together and bring to the boil. Remove from heat when done.
- BAKE 2ND STEP: When the cake has baked for 20 min. take it out and let it stand for 2 minutes. Turn the oven up to 225° fan and spread the topping evenly over the cake. Put back in the oven and bake for 5-7 min. until golden and bubbly.
- SERVE: Allow the cake to cool before cutting into pieces and serving.
