- How big is plant-based foods’ carbon footprint?
In general, the production of plant-based food results in much lower CO2 emissions than the production of animal-based food – including when it is calculated from the ingredient in the field to the finished product. Our external partner is currently calculating the precise carbon footprint for the process, from the soil to the table, for our products. We will tell people much more about this on social media platforms in “Plant Movement” as soon as we can.
- Are monkeys used to pluck coconuts for the production of products with coconut?
Monkeys are not used to pluck coconuts. Therefore we are also vegan-certified, which also covers the ethically safe treatment of animals in all parts of the production.
